  • This Fort Wayne Pistons guard was selected as the best basketball player for the first 50 years of the 20th Century.
  • Nicknamed 'Mr. Basketball,' this Minneapolis Laker was the first dominant big man in the game and won seven NBL, BAA and NBA championships.
  • Wilt the Stilt was such an overpowering big man that the NBA had to change several rules just to keep him from dominating the game.
  • He played for North Carolina, the Akron Wingfoots, the 1964 Olympic team, and several ABA teams before becoming an ABA, NBA, and NCAA Championship-winning coach.
  • A member of the original NY Knickerbockers, he was the leading scorer in their inaugural season ('46/'47) and is considered to be one of the inventors of the jump shot.
  • Originally from LSU, he Led the Tri-Cities Blackhawks (now Atlanta Hawks) in scoring in '51, then led the Ft. Wayne Pistons (now Detroit Pistons) in scoring in '52 & '53 .
  • A 6'5 forward from OSU, he played six seasons ('50-'51, '53-'58) in the NBA and won a championship with the Minneapolis Lakers in 1954.
  • A 6'5 forward from the University of Illinois, he played four seasons ('51-'56) in the NBA for the Syracuse Nationals and won a league championship in 1955.
  • Originally a Hoosier guard from Indiana University, he was drafted by the National Basketball Association in 1951 by the Indianapolis Olympians.
  • A 6'8 center from the University of Idaho, he played in the National Basketball Association from '54-'58 as a member of the Boston Celtics and St. Louis Hawks.
